Fines should go to charity: Farina

Queensland Roar coach Frank Farina wants Football Federation Australia (FFA) to donate his $2,000 fine to charity.

Farina was fined for criticising the officials after the Roar's 1-0 loss to Adelaide United last month.

Roar captain Craig Moore is recovering from surgery for testicular cancer, and Farina says the FFA should give the money to a charity of Moore's choice.

"I'd like to see my $2,000 plus GST go to a worthy cause and I think nothing better, it's the month of "Movember" and the situation with Craig in the last 10 days, I think it would be a great gesture form the FFA to donate it to a charity of Craig Moore's choice," he said.
