Australian Red Cross Report and Gurrumul remixed

This week, the Australian Red Cross released a report which looked at how traditional knowledge from 11 Pacific Island Nations could be incorporated into natural disaster planning.

Book - Aboriginal Sydney, Pecan Summer and One on One

Aboriginal Sydney is a book which was recently revised and contains Aboriginal history and sites in and around Sydney.

Australia's first Indigenous Opera, Pecan Summer had its world premiere in October and you'll hear a piece from that performance plus ABC Open's One on One series

Discus thrower, Benn Harradine recently become the first Indigenous Australian to win a field medal at a major championship when he took Gold at the Commonwealth Games in Dehli.

He discusses this history making event as part of this month's First Among Many series.
